About
What We Do
We Involve People
The Dayton Vespers Team leads chanted Evening Prayer (Vespers) in English (not Latin) using melodies and chants that are centuries old and simplified to make them accessible to everyday people. We don't put on concerts. Our Vespers are beautiful because everyone chants the Word of God together. Everyone participates, and that makes all the difference. We can teach first-time chanters in five minutes.

What to Expect
A Warm Welcome
Most people who come to our Vespers services are first timers who know nothing about chant or the Liturgy of the Hours. They want to try something new, something real. Even people who haven't been inside a church in a while enjoy the spirituality of Vespers. The Holy Spirit turns our groanings into prayers.
